Position Objectives

Responsible for evaluating existing processes to improve operational efficiency & agility. Reduce cost and develop and apply best practices within the Field Operation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve process capability and fault handling volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
  • Coordinate, lead, or contribute to the design and upgrade of processes (e.g. new or revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)), as assigned.
  • Ensure that standards and guidelines are followed, or that proper, consistent accounting or other practices are being employed.
  • Analyze all data regularly in order to make informed recommendations, documenting any potential efficiency savings accordingly.
  • Perform field walkouts and inspections if necessary with Field Technicians for identifying the process improvement.
  • Develop best practices to workflow for Acceptance, Preventive Maintenance , Change Management including checklist needed during TIER 1 and TIER 2 testing.
  • Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes using agile techniques.
  • Master business process modelling, traceability and quality management techniques.
  • Set process to authorize and document all changes related to Fixed Operation Infrastructure and its components in order to maintain a minimum amount of interruptive effects upon the running of operation.
  • Able to produce and automate Field process to minimize connectivity discrepancies in the field.
  • Conduct and lead workshops during establishing and issuance of QMS processes and procedures with process stakeholders.

  • BS degree in Engineering
  • 12+ years in Telecom Fixed Services Operations & Maintenance domain and/or projects.
  • Knowledge about modern Process Improvement methodologies like Six sigma and statistical tools like Minitab.
  • Knowledge of process related standards (ITIL & ETOM Assurance)
  • Technical understanding on Telecom Field Operation for Fixed Services (Fixed Broadband, Voice, etc.)
  • International experience from a developed telecoms market
  • Experienced of MS Office Tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word), plus Visio and Database
  • Good knowledge of reporting concepts, tools and templates
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
