Position Objectives

We are looking for an experienced Project Control Manager reporting to the PMO Head to be part of a dynamic PMO team to provide proactive management of all aspects of Program Control to achieve all targets and objectives. Maintain best practise Program Control processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control and manage all activities regarding Scope and Budget from Planning to Implementation
  • Oversee scope assignment to contractors across the country
  • Manage the resources to coordinate inter-project reporting needs and requirements
  • Control and follow up invoicing activities as per client’s process to close financial gaps and meet KPI’s set by management
  • Conduct system audit reporting to highlight system update discrepancies and ensure stakeholder participation in control activities
  • Manage the preparation of a detailed Project Implementation Plan and follow up project scheduling and reporting activities
  • Conduct regular meeting with internal and external stakeholders to manage and coordinate a consistent and uniform program control across the Project
  • Control Project progress and measure against the Vendor/Contractor’s approved PIP
  • Initiate and chair regular meetings with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and orderly execution of the work
  • Coordinate with Project Control and Contracts teams and all stakeholders to close all financial gaps as per agreed plan
  • Produce handover performance report and analysis for contractor compliance to handover criteria’s, thus also facilitating the invoicing process execution
  • Oversee the Change management process through all stakeholders to ensure scope and budget alignment and stability
  • Establish Risk Management processes to proactively manage project risks, to identify potential impact, and to execute appropriate risk avoidance and mitigation plans

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher
  • Highly motivated with 15+ years’ overall experience including at least 7+ years involvement in Project Control activities managing large projects
  • 5+ years of SQL database working knowledge is a must
  • Extensive knowledge and professional experience in projects management, project control, project reporting, coordination
  • Profound knowledge of all aspects of OSP fiber network and materials management
  • International experience from a developed telecoms market
  • Excellent Communication and writing skills in English is mandatory
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be reliable, and demonstrate a superior level of initiative.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential documents and situations
  • Experienced of MS Office Tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word), plus Visio and MS Project
  • Effectively communicate, persuade and influence at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to handle pressure and stress and flexible in working long hours
